1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the COP26 Glasgow Climate Summit held in Scotland said that India will achieve its target of net-zero carbon emissions by 2070. Apart from this, PM Modi also emphasized a five-point plan or 'Panchamrut' to fight the devastating effects of global warming and climate change. More than 120 world leaders participated in the COP26 Glasgow Climate Summit. India is the last among the world's major carbon polluters to announce a net-zero target. China has said it will reach a net-zero carbon emissions target in 2060, while the United States and the European Union are aiming to reach the target by 2050.

2. The 2021 G20 (Group of Twenty) summit was held in Rome, Italy on 30 and 31 October 2021. This was the 16th meeting of the G20 group. The meeting was chaired by Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi. The summit culminated with the adoption of the Rome Declaration by the G20 leaders.

3. The 13th Urban Mobility India Conference (UMI) was organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. It was inaugurated by Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The day-long conference was organized through a video conference with the theme "Emerging Trends in Urban Mobility".

4. The 3rd edition of Goa Maritime Conclave GMC 2021 has been organized by the Indian Navy from 07 to 09 November 2021 at the Naval War College, Goa. Admiral Karambir Singh, the Chief of the Navy will preside over the conference. The theme of the 2021 GMC is "Maritime Security and Emerging Non-Traditional Threats: A Case for an Active Role for IOR Navies".

5. Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat will inaugurate the 14th edition of 'cOcOn', an annual hacking and cyber security briefing, to be held virtually from November 10-13. The theme of the 5th WCDM is Technology, Finance and Capacity to Build Resilience to Disasters in the Context of COVID-19.

9. The 13th edition of the ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) summit has been held on November 25 and 26, 2021. The summit is being hosted by Cambodia as ASEM President. The theme of the two-day ASEM Summit is Strengthening Multilateralism for Shared Growth. Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu is leading the Indian delegation through the virtual platform.

10. External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar led the Indian delegation to the 20th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government (CHG).
