Report of Scout –Guide activities of this Vidyalaya for the year 2008-09.

Our Scout troop consisting 63 Guides and 176 Scouts and 80 Cubs and 68 Bulbuls. We have a team of well trained Scout masters and a Guide Captain who involve themselves in all round activities of the movement.The following activities were conducted during the year 2010-11.

1. Two Trained Graduate Teachers Mr. Chetan Prakash and Mr. Satyendra Verma were successfully completed their training in Basic Scout Master in the month of May.

2. 16 Guides attended the Tritiya Sopan Camp held at K V Bambolin Camp, Goa in the Month of August 2010. 6 Guides attended Pre - Rajyapuraskara testing camp held at KV Bagalkot.

3. Our Scouts and Guides participated in the Parade at NMPT stadium during Independence Day and republic Day Celebrations.

4. Our Scouts and Guides joined their hands together in the campaign of Cleanliness of beach area conducted by Coast Guard.

5. On 2nd October, in connection with Gandhi Jayathi celebration we arranged “All Faith Prayer” to spread the faith of peace and harmony. Followed by Investiture Ceremony for the new recruits joined this movement. Scarf, Vogle, Belt and Caps were given. Our beloved Principal Mr. Narendran has kind enough to recruit the scouts and Mrs. Ahalya Devi, Guide Captain recruit the Guides.

1.During the month of August, the following two Guides and 1 scout attended Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp at Pune.

2. During the month of August Pravesh Test was conducted in the Vidyalaya to enroll the students in Scout & Guide Movement.

3. 4 Guides and 2 Scouts attended the KVS and National Jamboree Camp at Hyderabad.

4. As per APRO Scout & Guide Meet, classes are being conducted during the first period of every Saturday for training the students in various activities.

5. Investiture ceremony will be held soon.
